Make sure that the company you choose has a valid approval for the job you request.

Air taxi / Scenic flights
Commercial air transports require a valid JAR-OPS 3 / EASA OPS Air Operator Certificate (AOC). The company will also need an Operating License (OL) if the flight is going to be other than local. The Swedish Transport Agency has online lists of valid OLs (click here and here).

Aerial works
Pure aerial works companies do not need the approvals mentioned above - they can operate with a national aerial work permit (LFS 2007:49). All valid aerial work permits are found here.

iTell Helicopters (retired)
iTell Helicopters is now known as Scandinavian Helicopter Center, effective from 18 October 2014.

History
iTell Helicopters was a flight school located at Hässlö Airport in Västerås. It offered PPL(H) on Robinson R44 helicopters, and held CPL(H) programmes and type ratings in partnership with Scandinavian Aviation Academy (SAA), starting from 2013.

The company cooperated with Copterflyg (STORM Heliworks), through which it offered commercial helicopter operations like air taxi, photo flights and inventory operations.

iTell Helicopters was a Swedish dealer for Robinson Helicopter Company - offering the whole range from the two-seat R22 to the four-seat R44 and the five-seat turbine R66. It offered pre-owned helicopters for sale as well.

In January 2014 iTell, through SAA, was awarded a government contract for two classes of 10 civil helicopter pilots each. After acceptance to the two-year 400-point higher vocational education programme, the pilots gained a full ATPL(H)IR theory and a CPL(H) license with 135 flight hours each. The classes were funded by the Swedish National Agency for Higher Vocational Education.

iTell opened a partnership with AH Flight School (owned by Arlanda Helicopter) in mid 2014.

Later the same year the company got a new owner, and iTell was soon re-branded Scandinavian Helicopter Center ("Helicenter"). The new structure was inaugurated through an open-day arrangement at the base in Västerås on 18 October 2014.
