Heli i Arjeplog
Heli i Arjeplog AB has its focus in tourism and aerial works. It operates from a main base in the heart of Arjeplog, and has field bases in Tjärnberg and Björkliden, in the middle of the beautiful mountain area near the Norwegian border.
History
Heli i Arjeplog has its roots in the old company Turistflyg i Arjeplog, which was established in the 60's. The company was eventually acquired by Heli AB, and got incorporated in the joint venture Heliflyg. The Arjeplog division was sold to Heliflyg AB in the mid-80s and changed name to Heliflyg i Arjeplog AB. The activity was made independent in 1992, as Mr Rolf Sundberg took over after several years as a pilot in the company. It took the name Heli i Arjeplog AB.
