The company will also need an Operating License (OL) if the flight is going to be other than local. The authority has no public lists with approved JAR-OPS 3 operators, but they have two lists over companies with valid OLs (click here and here).

Aerial works
Pure aerial works companies do not need the approvals mentioned above - they can operate with a national aerial work permit (LFS 2007:49). However, the most JAR-OPS 3 operators have an aerial work section included in their approvals. There are no public lists with all these operators, but we have them listed here. Call the Transport Agency (+46 771 503 503) to verify their validity.

Härjedalens Fjällflyg was established Hede back in 1978. It started off with a brand new Hughes 300, which was accompanied by a second 300 within a few years. The company was involved in wildlife operations, like animal inventory flights and reindeer mustering. It was solely focused in the Hughes 300 and operated a total of four different 300s throughout the years.

The company was acquired by Jämtlands Aero (1) in 1984.
