If you are going for a taxi- or a sightseeing flight, make sure that the company you choose has a valid JAR-OPS 3 approval issued by the Swedish Transport Agency. The company will also need an Operating License (OL) if the flight is going to be other than local. The authority has no public lists with approved JAR-OPS 3 operators, but they have two lists over companies with valid OLs (click here and here).

Aerial works
Pure aerial works companies do not need the approvals mentioned above - they can operate with a national aerial work permit (LFS 2007:49). However, the most JAR-OPS 3 operators have an aerial work section included in their approvals. There are no public lists with all these operators, but we have them listed here. Call the Transport Agency (+46 771 503 503) to verify their validity.

Fjällfrakt i Arjeplog (retired)
Fjällfrakt i Arjeplog came to life as HB Fjällfrakt was transferred into a joint-stock company in 1986. The new company had the same activity as Fjällfrakt - targeting various segments of transportation in the mountain world, including helicopters and seaplanes.

As the time evolved the company started to focus more and more in its flight operations. In 1989 the name was changed to Arctic Air to fit its line of business.
