The company will also need an Operating License (OL) if the flight is going to be other than local. The authority has no public lists with approved JAR-OPS 3 operators, but they have two lists over companies with valid OLs (click here and here).

Aerial works
Pure aerial works companies do not need the approvals mentioned above - they can operate with a national aerial work permit (LFS 2007:49). However, the most JAR-OPS 3 operators have an aerial work section included in their approvals. There are no public lists with all these operators, but we have them listed here. Call the Transport Agency (+46 771 503 503) to verify their validity.

Dala Helikopter was a taxi and utility company based at Särna. It mainly operated in the Dalarna, Värmland and Härjedalen districts, as well as in the eastern parts of Norway. The company had a large focus in plant setting operations.

Its main office was located in Stockholm, but the helicopters were based in the Särna/Rättvik area.

The company was retired in late-2010.
