Click here for more info If you are going for a taxi- or a sightseeing flight, make sure that the company you choose has a valid JAR-OPS 3 approval issued by the Swedish Transport Agency. The company will also need an Operating License (OL) if the flight is going to be other than local. The authority has no public lists with approved JAR-OPS 3 operators, but they have two lists over companies with valid OLs (click here and here).

Aerial works
Pure aerial works companies do not need the approvals mentioned above - they can operate with a national aerial work permit (LFS 2007:49). However, the most JAR-OPS 3 operators have an aerial work section included in their approvals. There are no public lists with all these operators, but we have them listed here. Call the Transport Agency (+46 771 503 503) to verify their validity.

Airlift Helicopter is a Swedish company specialized in agricultural work with its fleet of B3 Ecureuils. The company spreads fertilizer, granulated limestone and wood ash over forests and lakes throughout the Scandinavian countries. It has an armada of specially adapted vehicles and ground support equipment that is used in its daily operation.

Airlift Helicopter Sweden AB is a subsidiary to the Norwegian company Blueway AS.
