The Aviation College of Sweden (ACS) is a well-established school in the Swedish aviation world. Several technicians from all over the business have begun their careers within these walls.
ACS is a college in Västerås, in the centre of Sweden. They train aircraft mechanics and technicians to level B1.1, and airline pilots to level ATPL-A. The market for their graduating students are Sweden and other European countries. The training of maintenance personnel complies with the regulations of EASA (European Aviation Safety Agency), and they have a part-147 approval with rating TA1 and TB1.1.

The college, which is situated at the Hässlö Airport in Västerås, has a set of modern and fully equipped classrooms for theoretical training, workshops for practice, and hangars with aircraft for major tasks in the practical training. There are four instructional helicopter airframes in the fleet, two retired Alouette IIs (02201 and 02404) from the military, one crashed Enstrom F-28 (SE-HHP) and one Bell 204.

Nordic Rotors’ photographer Patric Borg went to the school to take a closer look at the airframes. Here are some of his images.
