Information about SE-JSS
This aircraft was constructed at Airbus Helicopters' factory in Donauwörth, Germany, in late 2018. It obtained its Swedish registration shortly prior to Christmas the same year, and was delivered to Östersund a few days after Christmas. It became the seventh H145 in Babcock Scandinavian AirAmbulance's fleet, which consisted of AW169s, H145s, EC145C2 and AS365s at that time.
The helicopter entered service as EMS helicopter on the island of Åland in February 2019, replacing the region's former workhorse OH-HMU (EC135). The H145 made its first missions shortly after entering operation.
