SE-JSH
Information about SE-JSH
This aircraft was constructed at Leonardo Helicopters assembly plant in Milan in 2017. It was the third in a batch of several AW169s ordered by Babcock Scandinavian AirAmbulance to update the fleet of EMS helicopters in Sweden. SE-JSH was picked up at the factory and flown to Sweden together with SE-JSI in early February 2018.
Active duty
SE-JSH was put service as EMS helicopter in Lycksele in the early morning of 27 March 2018. The launch followed after a period of customization and training. SE-JSH was the third AW169 in EMS duties in Sweden, after Östersund's SE-JRA and Gällivare's SE-JSG.
SE-JSH replaced the AS365N2 SE-JIB, which had served the region since 1 December 2002 (when it replaced the Swedish Armed Force's Bell 412s).
