Information about SE-JRH
This aircraft was constructed at AgustaWestland SpA's Vergiate plant north of Milan, Italy, in 2013. It was the first helicopter in a batch of seven AW139s ordered by the Swedish Maritime Administration (Sjöfartsverket) in October 2012.
The helicopter was handed over to Sjöfartsverket at an official ceremony held at the Vergiate plant in September 2013. It left the factory at 10:10 on 10 September, crewed by pilot Michael Åkerlund, pilot Per Forsner and technician Joakim Packalén. The new aircraft landed at Skavsta Airport in Nyköping, Sweden, at 19:00 the same day. It was followed by a second AW139 (SE-JRI) ten days later.
SE-JRH has been nicknamed 'SAR Force One'. It is stationed at a temporary base in Nyköping for the initial development and fielding process, before the AW139s get operational at their permanent SAR stations.
