It was flown to Östersund (Sweden) via Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates), Doha (Qatar), Riyadh (Saudi Arabia), Al Hail (Saudi Arabia), Al Wajh (Saudi Arabia), Taba (Egypt), El Arish (Egypt), Pafos (Cyprus), Rhodos (Greece), Mykonos (Greece), Korfu/Kerkyra (Greece), Pescara (Italy), Bolzano (Italy), Leipzig/Halle (Germany), Malmö (Sweden) and Mora (Sweden). The route did also cross the countries Bahrain and Austria. The aircraft was manned by a crew of three - Andreas Hjert, Mikael Djupsö and Mats Hansson (technician).
The aircraft went through an extensive ambulance modification in Östersund, preparing it for its new life in northern Sweden. The make-over, which involved a new livery (the same colors as SE-JIB), was finished in February 2012.
Registered SE-JRB, the new helicopter replaced SE-JIA as primary EMS helicopter in Gällivare (Mediflight 5990) in early March 2012. SE-JIA took the role as general back-up aircraft in Scandinavian MediCopter.
