This aircraft was constructed back in 1979. It was purchased by the Sundsvall-based helicopter company Copterflyg M.L. AB in early-2004, and was registered SE-JML on 29 January 2004.
It was purchased from the North American Racing Corporation in Austin, Texas, USA. The aircraft, which was registered N1068C in the US, had earlier been used as a police helicopter. Some clear evidences of its police service are still visible. It's equipped with line-cutters and is capable of carrying two stretchers. The last two letters in the registration (ML) is the initial of the founder of Copterflyg AB.
SE-JML is mainly used for sightseeing tours and air-taxi and is operated by HeliAir Sweden AB.
