Aircraft Data
S/N: CH-34
Year: 1975
Last known operator:
This aircraft was constructed at Fuji Heavy Industries’ Nakajima plant in Japan back in 1975. Fuji had entered a sub-license agreement with Mitsui and Bell in order to construct the initial 90 examples of the UH-1B Iroquois for the Japan Ground Self Defence Force. The assembly continued and a batch of 35 samples of the Bell 204B was constructed for the civil market – this one being the very last one.

This machine, registered JA9142, was assigned to the police force in the well-known city of Hiroshima in Japan. It was retired in early-21’st century. The helicopter was purchased by a Norwegian owner in 2003, brought to the Swedish maintenance company Aeroservice i Karlskoga AB and repainted into a military look-alike livery. It was registered SE-JMK in July 2003. The new private owner flew its helicopters from a farm in the outskirts of Oslo, but offered it for sale in early-2006.

Two private owners in Sweden found interest in the machine and purchased the helicopter in early April 2006. It was flown from Oslo to Stockholm on 7th of April the same year. The helicopter is experimental rated and is based in Sala.
