SE-JLM
Information about SE-JLM
This aircraft was purchased by a private owner in Gällivare and imported to Sweden via the Robinson dealer Helicopter Assistance AB in early March 2006. It was assembled at the maintenance workshop AeroService i Karlskoga and registered SE-JLM on 15 March 2006. The helicopter was based in Gällivare and owned by Gellivare Flyg AB.
The aircraft was leased to Jämtlands Flyg AB on and off over the years. It was acquired by a private owner in Umeå in the spring of 2011. The helicopter joined Jämtlands Flyg AB's fleet in March 2012 again, and it was purchased by the holding company Jämtland Helikopter AB in December the same year.
In February 2019, Jämtlands Flyg announced that the company was to close down its operations in mid March the same year. The company declared that the controlled closure was due to decreasing profitability and stricter regulations.
The company had one AS350 (SE-JGZ), two EC120s (SE-JHZ & SE-JLZ), and two R44s (SE-JJZ & SE-JLM) when it closed its operations. The aircraft was subsequently offered for sale.
SE-JLM was sold to HeliScan AS in Norway in May 2019. HeliScan acquired Jämtlands Flyg's Östersund-Göviken base, and let LN-OYD remain in Östersund for its Swedish operations, together with the second R44 (now LN-OYK) and the two EC120s (now LN-OYM and LN-OYL).
