The helicopter was imported to Sweden from the Eurocopter factory in February this year and has been standing in Piteå since then. The extremely young (less than 20 hrs) and spanking new helicopter has now left the hangar and entered operation with Kallax Flyg AB.Direct link: http://www.nordicrotors.com/SE-JJM/762 -

Piloted by Aram Rubinstein the machine left the Eurocopter factory in Marseilles at 13:16 on February 4th. It flew via Macon-Charnay and Hahn before it arrived to Hamburg in the evening. The intention was to come to Sweden in one day, but the weather in Germany proved to be too poor. The next day the helicopter continued its journey to Sweden by going to Malmö and then Stockholm. A short fuelling break and the helicopter took off again, headed up north.
Note the antenna on the right hand side of the machine. This was a part of the temporary radio equipment lent by Eurocopter for the ferry flight. The owner had selected that the regular radio gear would be installed by a maintenance facility in Sweden.Direct link: http://www.nordicrotors.com/SE-JJM/1527

Information about SE-JJM
This helicopter was constructed by the French Eurocopter department in Marginane (near Marseilles) in 2005. It was delivered to Sweden in February 2005. The flight went from Marginane via Macon-Charnay, Hahn, Hamburg, Malmö, Stockholm, mid-Sweden somewhere and then finally to Piteå. However, the helicopter came to be standing in the hangar in Piteå for unknown reasons for quite some time. It finally entered service with the operator Kallax Flyg in September 2005.
