SE-JIE
Information about SE-JIE
This aircraft was constructed at Eurocopter's Donauwörth plant in 2008. It arrived to Sweden in the spring of 2008, going straight to Scandinavian MediCopter's main base in Östersund for some EMS modifications. It replaced SE-JFN as primary EMS helicopter in Stockholm ("Ambulans 998") in the summer of 2008.
In 2011 the traditional callsign Ambulans 998 was changed to Mediflight 5980. The backup summer aircraft (former A994), which serves from May 15 to September 15, was given the callsign Mediflight 5840.
