Information about SE-JHT
This aircraft was constructed by Eurocopter at the Marginane factory in 2003. It was purchased by Fiskflyg AB and was delivered in March of 2003. Fiskflyg held a fleet of two traditional Jet Rangers and a Long Ranger, and had done so for 13 years before. The highly modern Colibri was a welcome addition and it soon proved suitable for the company's needs. It was equipped with a special hand made aluminium floor to protect the aircraft from getting worn by damages caused by repeated loadings and unloadings. It also received an external loudspeaker (which sounds like an American police car) for reindeer herding as well as a special radio that the Laplanders use.
Fiskflyg is a well established company in northern Sweden and it's focused in tourism, aerial works and wildlife care. It's got its main base in Porjus but has a seasonal base at Stora Sjöfallet.
