Aircraft Data
S/N: 3153
Year: 1980
Last known operator:
N5759Q, D-HBAD
This 1980 aircraft was imported from Germany by Fjällfrakt i Arjeplog in August 1988. It was purchased as a replacement for the company's earlier Jet Ranger (SE-HLX) that had been damaged in an accident a month earlier.

The aircraft was used for tourism, reindeer herding and various aerial work operations in the mountain world.

As Fjällfrakt i Arjeplog decided to focus in air transports it changed name to Arctic Air in 1989. SE-HTC was transferred to the new company. It operated parallel with an Aérospatiale Ecureuil (SE-JAG) at the Vuoggatjålme tourism station between 1990-1992.

The aircraft was lost in a tragic accident near Bodø in Norway in May 1996. The pilot and a crew member lost their lives when the helicopter hit a power line during a reindeer operation.

The helicopter was replaced by the Jet Ranger SE-HKK the next year.
