SE-HPN
Information about SE-HPN
This helicopter was originally purchased by Ostermans Aero AB back in 1979 - intended to be converted into a police helicopter. However, the Swedish National Police found an extra Jet Ranger better suited for its operation and acquired SE-HIM instead. Ostermans Aero ended up with the Long Ranger but soon found a new costumer. It was purchased by Go Up Helicopters AB in Stockholm and slowly but surely found its way to southern Sweden.
Osterman Helicopter operated the helicopter for a couple of months before it was sold to Mamö-based Euro Air Helikopter AB in April of 1983. The machine came to be used for IFR training in the area, operated by HelikopterService Euro Air.
After more than 20 years of service in Malmö the helicopter was purchased by the Norrtälje-based flight school Proflight Nordic AB in February 2005. It's operated by Roslagens Helikopterflyg AB. The aircraft is used for IFR training together with the sister ship SE-JHO.
