SE-HOC was the third one in a batch of three R22s that were imported to Sweden by Ostermans Aero in late 1980. These were the very first R22s in Sweden, and they were quickly followed by four R22s the next year.

SE-HOC was the only one to be sold to another commercial company within Sweden. It was sold to Osterman Helicopter in early-1981 and was operated by the company for 2½ years before it was exported to Finland.
