The helicopter was sold to Jämtlands Aero (1) within a few months, but was unfortunately lost in a fatal accident a year later. Three people lost their lives when the helicopter collided with the ground at Mt Bastunäsfjället on 21 April 1977.

The aircraft was brought to Ostermans Aero's maintenance facility at Barkarby Airport in Stockholm, Sweden, and was fully repaired in the months to come. It obtained its Swedish registration, SE-HGT, on 22 March 1976.
The helicopter was purchased by Jämtlands Aero in Östersund in September the same year.
On 21 April 1977 SE-HGT was lost in a fatal accident at Mt Bastunäsfjället, south of Borgafjäll, when it collided with the ground. Three people lost their lives in the accident. The helicopter was written off.
